Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of vonfer.com and any order placed with Vonfer. By visiting the site or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms. Please read them before placing an order.

1. About the store

Vonfer is an online watch and watch-accessory retailer operating from Victoria, Australia. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform used to operate this store. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Vonfer; “you” means the visitor or customer.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract in your country. You may not use the site or our products for an unlawful purpose, interfere with the security or operation of the site, introduce malicious code, scrape the site at scale, or infringe the rights of another person.

3. Product information

We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours and scale can appear differently depending on your screen, and small variations may occur between production batches. Measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise. Product availability may change without notice.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to purchase. An automated confirmation means we have received it; acceptance occurs when the order is approved and prepared for dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including stock errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment failure, delivery restrictions or limits on quantities. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount charged.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are shown in the currency selected for your market. Taxes, delivery charges and any duties collected by us are displayed at checkout before you pay. You agree to provide current and accurate billing, contact and payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we do not store complete card details.

6. Delivery

Delivery options, prices and estimates are shown at checkout and are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you when the order is delivered to the address supplied, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled under our Return and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law and mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country.

8. Promotions and gift cards

Promotional offers may have additional terms and may be changed or withdrawn where permitted by law. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined. Gift cards are subject to any terms displayed when purchased and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

9. Intellectual property

The Vonfer name, logos, product imagery, written content, design and other material on the site belong to Vonfer or its licensors. You may use the site for personal shopping only. No content may be copied, republished, sold or commercially exploited without written permission.

10. Third-party services and links

The store may include services or links supplied by third parties, including payment, delivery and analytics providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. We are not responsible for third-party sites that we do not control.

11. Reviews and submissions

If you send a review, photo or other content, you confirm that it is accurate, lawful and yours to share. You grant us a non-exclusive right to use it in connection with the store and our marketing. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringes another person’s rights.

12. Disclaimer and liability

We do not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vonfer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer guarantees.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Vonfer for reasonable losses caused by your unlawful use of the site or a material breach of these terms.

14. Changes and severability

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Changes apply prospectively from publication. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. This does not prevent a customer from relying on mandatory consumer protections available in the place where they live.
